Pizza with Adobong Century Tuna! We all need a P.A.C.T. for our all hard work and to drive that stress away!

This is a recipe that my mom taught me - a perfect balance between the tanginess of the vinegar and the saltiness well blended with garlic goodness into the Century Tuna.
An oldie, a goodie and always a comfort food to Filipinos <3 and this time… ON A PIZZA. To be enjoyed as an experience and as a dish by kids and kids at heart <3

Ingredients (for cooking in a pan):

  1. Century Tuna Easy Open in Vegetable Oil
  2. 1 whole garlic
  3. 2-4 tablespoons of white vinegar
  4. 1 teaspoons of salt (rock is preferred) (NOTE: the white vinegar and salt will be mixed together and “TASTE tested” before marinating the tuna)

To be topped on the “pizza”
(NOTE: your Pizza “crust” can be store bought OR a flattened piece of pita bread OR even your favourite flattened piece of bread)

  1. Pineapple chunks - grill to caramelize
  2. Tomato sauce or ketchup!
  3. Red onions
  4. Quick melting cheese or mozarella

OPTIONAL ingredients to top on your pizza:

  1. Bellpeppers
  2. Black olives
  3. Parsley


If you will be using an oven and pizza dough - ideally pre-heat oven to 150 degrees Celsius for 15-20 minutes while preparing pizza


  1. Into a bowl, drain a can of Century Tuna in Vegetable oil
  2. In another bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of white vinegar and ⅓ teaspoon of rock salt - NOTE: make sure to dilute the rock salt and TASTE before adding mixture to bowl with Century Tuna — taste for the right balance of saltiness and tanginess - add necessary ingredient SLOWLY either one tablespoon at a time of vinegar if it is too salty , or another ⅓ teaspoon of salt if too sour
  3. Put mixture into bowl with Century Tuna - let this sit while cooking garlic
  4. Cook garlic until brown - once brown and crispy add Century Tuna on a low heat
  5. Let the moisture evaporate and wait until tuna has a consistency of crispiness and flakiness

***OPTIONAL: to add depth to flavour: Grill pineapple chunks on a pan


  1. Choose your crust option - if too thick - flatten with a bottle or a rolling pin until desired thickness/thinness (best to add a thin layer of olive oil or Century Tuna vegetable oil on desired crust)
  2. Top the dough with a generous amount of tomato sauce
  3. Follow with Century Tuna Adobo Flakes to enjoy a more protein dense snack
  4. Add red onions and preferred grated cheese
  5. Pineapple can be optional
  6. Add the rest of optional ingredients, except for Parsley

Cook for 5-10 minutes depending on the thickness of dough
Enjoy a low calorie, protien dense snack - complete with colours - flavours and the kids and kids at heart will love it too <3
